Aussie, Aussie, Aussie! Oy, Oy, Oy!

Eloise getting herself some henna

Aussies are "heaps" of fun:) "Heaps" is a word they frequently use...in just about every other sentence...

Eating pastille with Pete and Ana

I've learned from the Aussies that kangaroos are the "deer" of Australia. Australians hunt and eat them as Amerians do deer. (And when they kill a mother kangaroo, they have to kill the baby along with it.) Also like deer, kangaroos can cause pretty bad car wrecks, especially when they fly through the windshield.

I love this pic:)

I seriously wish we drove cars like this in the U.S. They're just so economical.

This picture was hanging outside of a restaurant. Notice the shorts, skull, and other bones...

23rd Birthday

The makings of Colleen and Jordan:) Colleen cut the letters from a Zara bag:)

No, we're not trashed in this picture, and we're not high. This is just us after having survived a little over 2 months of life in North Africa:)...This was right after we lost a dog of the people we were house-sitting for around mid-night the night before my birthday. It was terrible - walking around this creepy neighborhood alone late at night in high heels crying because we couldn't find this dog ANYWHERE. It finally showed up at the doorstep - Thank God. We also spent that week driving around in a 1985 stick-shift BMW with no power-steering - our first driving experience in North Africa. We almost lost our lives more than a few times that week trying to drive through those awful round-abouts - Don't worry, Mom - I've got lots of angels around me:)

This was my bedroom on my birthday. Our boss from the States arrived that day and brought with him suitcases full of goodies from our parents, so on my birthday I was able to actually open presents from my parents, which was such a treat:) Our parents also sent our Christmas presents, so Colleen's presents were packed in my suitcase, mine were packed in Jordan's, and Jordan's were packed in Colleen's.
